About Move for 60
Move for 60 was born in 2021 when the Vipers Run Club took on an epic challenge: running in relay, non-stop, for 60 hours in honour of the 60 men lost to suicide every 60 minutes globally – a heartbreaking reality they were determined to change.
Since then, the event has only continued to grow. In 2024, Move for 60 expanded as running clubs, solo runners and community groups joined the Vipers.
For 2025, our goal is to inspire the whole community to move for 60 minutes during Mental Health Month and help reach our target of raising $50,000 for local Lifeline services.
As Northern Beaches locals, the Vipers have proudly partnered with Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli for the past two years, throwing their support behind our vision of an Australia free of suicide.
By lacing up for Move for 60, you’ll be playing a key part in helping move our community closer to that vision.
Get moving and make an impact
Every dollar raised from Move for 60 will make an impact that’s felt right here in our local community, helping Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli provide vital crisis support and suicide prevention services.
Each year, our Crisis Support Centre in Balgowlah answers more than 50,000 calls from people struggling to cope, needing someone to talk to. With that number growing, your support is needed more than ever.
Just $39 helps answer one potentially life-saving call. Together, we can continue bringing safety, connection and hope to our community when it’s needed most. Thank you for making a difference.
