Local support,
supporting locals.
The impact you make possible.
Lifeline Northern Beaches has been dedicated to delivering vital wellbeing and suicide prevention services in our community since 1968. In that time, we’ve answered over 1 million crisis calls and provided thousands of counselling sessions.
None of this would have been possible without generosity from our local community. When you donate, your impact is felt right here.
Watch the video to hear from volunteers and help seekers at the heart of our work. Their stories of connection and hope highlight the true power of local support. How your donation makes a difference
Every day, we lose nine Australians to suicide.
It’s something Will’s determined to change.

For Will, becoming a crisis supporter was deeply personal. He’s lost five friends to suicide. Friends he expected to grow old with.
Sadly, his story isn’t unique. 1 in 6 Australians aged 16-85 have experienced suicidal thoughts.
“Adversity doesn’t discriminate. Lifeline is incredibly important, because it’s a safe space to talk.”
With every call he answers, Will helps to provide critical moments of safety, connection and hope, right when it’s needed most.
“It’s incredibly powerful to hear someone’s voice shift from distress to calm. To know that, just by listening, you’ve helped”
Crisis supporters like Will are available to listen 24/7 — for anyone, at any time, for any reason. But they can only do this vital work with your support.
