Get on board and make a life saving difference

This November, we’re holding the seventh annual Lifeline Classic surf comp, to raise much-needed funds for Lifeline Northern Beaches.

Register a team, and compete to see who can raise the most funds for Lifeline in the lead-up to the comp.

All 20 teams who are fundraising will get to hit the waves in a super-fun tag team surf event – joined by some of the best pros on the circuit!

More than just a day of surfing, the Classic is a celebration of our strength as a community.

The funds raised by this event are urgently needed– with demand for Lifeline services increasing.The stigma around mental illness may be lifting, but many people are doing it tough (often in silence). Lifeline Northern Beaches' services are critical in more ways than you’d imagine.

By taking part in the Lifeline Classic, you will be making a life-saving difference in your community. Every dollar raised from the Lifeline Classic will help Lifeline Northern Beaches continue to provide 24/7 support for people in crisis.

Together we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

Through our partnership with LocalKind and touring the Lifeline call centre in Balgowlah, we know how vital Lifeline’s work is in supporting the most vulnerable in our community.

Since participating in the Lifeline Classic in 2018, we’ve raised over $40,000, and we’re thrilled to be part of it again this year, raising crucial funds for this essential service."

Put together a team that includes 4 surfers (any age and any surfing ability). There is a Women’s Division and an Open Division. The event is limited to 20 teams, so email fundraising@lifelinenb.org.au to check availability. 

You can fundraise in whatever way you like: putting on a BBQ, host a work event, auctioning off your time or services, having a garage sale, anything! Share your story on social media and let everyone know to support your fundraiser.

The Lifeline Classic raises funds for Lifeline Northern Beaches. These funds are used in our local crisis support and suicide prevention services right here on Sydney’s northern beaches. By taking part, you’re saving lives in your own backyard.
