It’s not always obvious when someone is struggling. But every day, right here on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and lower North Shore, there are people experiencing overwhelming distress. A young person under pressure. A parent dealing with financial strain. An older neighbour bereaved, and alone.

Every dollar raised from the Lifeline Surf Classic will make an impact that's felt right here in our local community, helping Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli continue providing vital crisis support and suicide prevention services.

Each year, our Crisis Support Centre in Balgowlah answers more than 50,000 calls from people struggling to cope, needing someone to talk to. Many are facing their toughest moments alone.
