I’m fundraising for Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli

I’m proudly supporting Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli a local charity that’s saving lives in our community today and every day. Your donation can make a real difference, helping provide 24/7 support for someone in our community in crisis.

Every $39 raised covers the cost of answering one call to Lifeline – a call that could save someone’s life. Donation over $2 are tax deductible.

Together, we can ensure that no one in our community faces their darkest moments alone.

The week started at Hibiscus Sports Complex in both the outdoor 50m pool and the indoor 25m pool.  However, this morning I swam at the Griffith University Pool at Mt Gravatt, just a few mins from home.  Gorgeous 25m outdoor pool set in the bush.  No squads so a nice calm pool and so very close to home!
I swim 1km freestyle and then another 500m breaststroke/paddle/kickboard.

In Training

Friday 13th Feb
Back in Brisbane, I'm dedicated to my training.  I have trialed a new pool at Hibiscus Leisure Centre.  I also swam with a buddy this week.  Always a great motivation!

Brisbane Gal Coming Home to Sydney

Friday 30th Jan
I'm a Sydney Gal born and bred but I now live in Brisbane.  My Dad was an avid swimmer (his home pool was Cabarita) as well as a Surf Lifesaver (North Wollongong). I'm keen to swim as many Ocean Rock Pools as I can on each and every visit to Sydney when I come home to see family and friends.  So far I (in this week long visit) have ticked off:
Dee Why
Bondi Icebergs
Freshwater
Clovelly
McIver's Ladies Baths

I also did:
 Northbridge Baths (harbour)
Glenbrook (Lower Blue Mountains)

Unfortunately these don't count!

I met a lovely fellow swimmer at Freshy this week who recommended the Ocean Rock Pool Tour. I booked retrun flight to Sydney today!

I can't wait!
